Learning System
UTPSandbox is the digital home of the UTP Learning System™ — a builder-first framework for craft, ventures, and co-owned digital wealth. Here is how the program is structured for every cohort.
UTP is not a general coding bootcamp. It is an online-first venture-building accelerator for African builders — Nigeria as the initial market, Africa in mind. Specialization teaches craft; the UTP Learning System™ teaches how craft, customers, and co-ownership fit together. Everything in the program — modules, assessments, and graduation — is built on the principles and layers below.
These principles guide how we teach, build, and hold each other accountable.
01
Skill is proven in projects — demos and repos — not tutorials alone.
02
Peers and mentors can review your work. Hidden folders are not a portfolio.
03
Assistants accelerate craft. You remain accountable for what ships under your name.
04
Lift the cohort. Compete on craft and shipping — not sabotage.
05
The default path is co-owning what you build, not chasing a placement certificate.
06
Demos beat decks. Revision beats waiting for perfect.
07
Reviews, endorsements, and mentoring compound the New Salt.
Complementary stacks — not optional electives. Graduates who claim the full UTP arc walk all four.
Layer 4
Phase B squads ship real products, incorporate, and co-own equity with mentors and UTP.
Layer 3
Monthly venture journey beside your specialization — interviews, Business Model Canvas (BMC), validation, proposal, and pitch.
Layer 2
Twenty-four weeks of deep craft in one pathway — frontend, full-stack, DevOps, marketing, growth, or design.
Layer 1
Required Builder Foundations course — mindset, workstation, Git, venture literacy, and communication shared by every pathway.
Parallel to specialization. Each month produces a named deliverable toward the proposal and pitch.
| Month | Theme | Deliverable |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Identity | Builder Manifesto |
| 2 | Problem | Customer Interview Log |
| 3 | Opportunity | Business Model Canvas v1 |
| 4 | Validation | Validation Report |
| 5 | Proposal | Venture Proposal |
| 6 | Pitch | Pitch + Phase B decision |
Your venture work connects into one Living Venture Portfolio — from identity through to the Phase B decision.
Phase A graduation is evidence-based co-owner readiness — not attendance.
