Months 1–6
Phase A — Learn & build
₦1,000,000
Program tuition
Six months of pathway craft, AI-assisted building, Venture Core, capstone work, mentorship, and a venture proposal — preparation to build something you own.
Program cost
Pay once for Phase A. Phase B is earned — no additional tuition if selected. Published tuition is the program’s value; scholarships are investments in builders.
Many programs answer: “How do I get a software job?”
UTP answers: “How do I become a builder who can create products, companies, and opportunities?”
Phase A integrates craft, venture literacy, mentorship, and portfolio evidence into one journey — technical training, founder development, and studio readiness held together.

If selected — Phase B seats are earned, not purchased
Builders who complete Phase A and are selected for Phase B receive venture-building support and are guided by UTP team and professional mentors throughout the Phase. Selection is competitive and based on capability, commitment, and venture readiness.
Elsewhere, builders often buy these experiences from different programs. UTP brings them into a single Phase A → Phase B program arc.
Technical specialization
24 weeks of pathway craft — software, cloud, or marketing — with projects that ship.
AI-assisted building
Modern AI workflows inside lessons and project review — assistants accelerate craft; you stay accountable for what ships.
Venture Core
Entrepreneurship and venture literacy beside your specialization — customers, models, and ownership mindset.
Capstone & portfolio
Evidence you can show: capstone work, public progress, and a builder portfolio — not attendance alone.
Venture proposal readiness
Business Model Canvas, validation, proposal, and pitch — accelerator-style readiness inside Phase A.
Mentorship & network
Guidance from mentors and a cohort of African builders practising in public.
Phase B pathway
Compete for a Phase B seat to ship a company with no additional tuition — selection is merit-based.
For squads that earn a Phase B seat, UTP helps turn the product into a real Nigerian company — and gives you launch support to get moving.
Company incorporation
Included
UTP covers registering your venture as a Nigerian Ltd so you can launch with a real company.
Launch support
₦250,000–₦500,000
A launch grant for essentials like domain, hosting, and the tools you need to ship your first version.
Ownership
60% builders · 15% mentors · 25% UTP
You and your squad hold the majority. Mentors and UTP hold smaller institutional stakes.
Reputation follows proof. We measure progress by craft, venture readiness, and owned companies.
Craft that ships
Completed modules, capstone evidence, and a public portfolio at Builder Level readiness.
Venture readiness
A real proposal, BMC, and Phase B decision — committed or portfolio-only, both honourable.
Owned outcomes
For those selected: squad products, Nigerian companies, and majority builder equity.
Scholarship awards and payment options are different access ways into the program - not different products. Regular tuition is ₦1,000,000. Awards are investments we make in builders. They are not discounts on quality.
