Future squad role

Frontend Engineer

Engineering squad · UI & client craft

Team seat: Full-Stack Engineer seat (UI & client craft)

Own the screens users touch — HTML/CSS/JS and React that make Friday demos look real.

In the venture, you will

  • Ship accessible, fast web interfaces the venture can demo weekly
  • Own the client layer while Backend and Full-Stack peers own the rest of the stack
  • Turn product intent into production UI without waiting on a separate design hire
  • Compete for an Engineering team seat with a frontend portfolio, not a generic full-stack label

Team placement is based on evidence and venture need — this is the job this track prepares you for, not an automatic title. Several specializations may compete for the same team seat; each keeps its own craft identity.

In a Phase B squad

Engineering & product craft

In Phase B, Software Engineering specializations do not all become “Full-Stack Engineer.” Frontend, Backend, Full-Stack, and Mobile are separate jobs on the venture; team placement puts two of them into Full-Stack Engineer seats by craft fit. Strong shippers (often A3) may also earn Product Lead. Design Lead lives on the UX/UI track (C3), not every A track.

Typical seats: Full-Stack Engineer · Product Lead

Inside this track

  • Deep craft work in Frontend Development across a six-month Phase A rhythm.
  • Shared UTP Core and Venture Thread for every builder — specialization is your edge, not your only curriculum.
  • Weekly projects, feedback, and portfolio evidence that inform Phase B team placement.
